Star Wars Episode 3 Reviews

Again, I would like to start off this review by saying, this is nothing personal against this film, I just don’t like it. And yes, I do realize that I am probably one of the very few people who would actually admit to not liking Star Wars. This is simply not the kind of film that I enjoy watching. Taking that into consideration, I will admit that Star Wars is, overall, a good movie; it’s just not the movie for me. The best aspects by far are the little green Muppets who can use the force and a giant furry looking creature thing called Chewy. I’m also partial to droids such as R2-D2. That’s about it as far as my liking of this film goes… Star Wars, in its defense, has great special effects, which is probably where it derives most of its appeal. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys quality special effects and a predictable, stereotypical plot line and hard core action scenes.

Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith is the final installment to the Star Wars saga. Though the film actually takes place prior to three of the earlier movies, it is in many ways the beginning of a phenomenon. The Star Wars saga sports a rich past, and an almost cult like following, as a result of this, this final installment of a six part mega series has had a lot to live up to, and in my opinion delivers. The film exhibits the latest in special effects, both visual and audile, while maintaining a solid plot line that is packed full of action. Though the movie has a few notable casting flaws, it still manages to provide for an entertaining two hours and twenty minuets. Because of the special effects and large amount of action I would rate this as my favorite of the six Star Wars movies, and a fitting end to a series that took the world by storm.

Star wars episode three is the final movie in the long legacy of star wars films. the movie was of epic porportions, with tons of awesome fighting along with a killer plot line that reveals some very big secrets about the galaxy that they live in, and the people within it. the movie was the perfect way to end the series, it brought everything together very well and really wrapped the story up. Star Wars fan or not, i dont see a way in which someone couldnt like this movie. i give it a 10/10

Let me start out by saying, I love Star Wars. That being said, episodes 1 & 2 are absolutely atrocious. They are dreadful movies no one ever would have thought about seeing if they didn't have the Star Wars name on them. But this one's good! Seriously, besides the melodrama, the endless squnched-face acting by the gorgeous Hayden Christensen, it is a good movie, it has some seriously awesome special effects, and Yoda gets in an epic battle. It doesn't get any better folks! This is the awesomeness of the old movies combined with the action of today- the perfect movie! And the guys are dead sexy. If you like Star Wars at all, you have to be able to find something to like about this movie, it is just so much fun! But drama too, and all in space, so its that much better. YODA IS THE FREAKING MAN!!!! This class was seriously awesome, I love Dr. Park, robots, and Yoda very very much. Goodbye everybody!

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, can be summurized in one word. AMAZING! In my opinion, it is the best out of the three new Star Wars movies that have come out in recent years. While it can't compete with any of the original three, it is by far the best out of the three new ones. Revenge of the Sith tells the story of young Anakin Skywalker, a troubled young jedi who is struggling between the light and dark side of the force. Anakin is having visions of his wife Padme dying while giving birth to his unborn child. Anakin is consumed by the thought of losing his wife and will stop at nothing to prevent the death of the one he loves. Unfortunately, Anakin turns to the dark side and pledges his apprenticeship to Darth Sidious, who is really Emperor Palpatine. Sidious is the only one who can assist Anakin in learning the dark side of the force which will allow him to put a stop to his wife's unavoidable death. Sidious however, has different plans for Anakin, and could really care less whether they save his wife. He actually is working towards turning Anakin against his wife, and submit completely to the dark side. This story is truly tragic and has a bittersweet ending. The thing that makes this movie so wonderful is the use of such amazing special effects. Everything from the space battles to the lightsaber duals looked extremely realistic although the technology in the movie is far advanced than that of our time. With the combination of a killer plot and amazing special effects, one may ask themselves who wouldn't love such an amazing movie? I give this movie a 9/10.

Star Wars Episode III is an amazing movie!! It is not better than episode 4 however it is the best of the new movies. This movie is by far the most action packed of the 6 movies. Anakin, perhaps the greatest jedi ever, has visions of his wife dying. He becomes obsessed with finding a way to save her. He desires to become more and more powerful. In this movie the plot of Chancellor Palpatine is finally revealed. The clones who were actually serving the Chancellor elimanate almost all of the Jedi. Yoda battles the Chancellor for control of the republic and Obi-Wan must try and defeat his student. This movie contains amazing special effects and scenery through brief glimpses of other worlds. Also this movie contains many battle scenes. There are numerous amazing lightsaber duels throughout this movie. One between Yoda and Chancellor Palpatine, the two strongest of the jedi and the sith. This fight is amazing and will blow your mind. Also the fight between teacher (Obi-Wan) and student (Anakin) is an amazing fight. Both these jedi are very powerful and it shows in this amazing fight scene. This movie is wonderfully done and I could watch this movie over and over. I give this movie a 9/10.

Star Wars Episode III is definitely the best movie of the Star War's series. It finally exemplifies the transformation of Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader and his plummet to becoming more robot than human completing his decent to the dark side. It sets the stage for episodes 4-6 without leaving any cliffhangers to dwell on. This movie is full of amazing special effects and fight scenes. Robots are seen just about everywhere in the film due to the movie attempting to depict a futuristic society. Anyone who has been a fan of Star Wars has probably seen this movie already, but I highly recommend it if you haven't as yet. It's probably a good idea to watch the movie in the order it was made, because you may sit through a 2+ hour movie completely lost. All in all, I would say this movie is a movie that gives closure to all Star Wars fans.

Star Wars is undoubtedly one of the great sci-fi movie classics, and Episode III is no exception to that. The movie stars a plethora of robot characters, from the ever-popular R2-D2 and the obnoxious C-3PO to the Trade Federation’s massive droid army and General Grievous. The movie features many breathtaking special effects that paint a world rich in detail that is not only awe-inspiring but also stretches the imagination. The plot of the story is fully-developed (kudos to George Lucas on weaving such an intricate and intriguing storyline), and the movie does an excellent job at both evoking emotion from the audience and keeping them drawn into the movie as the events of the story unfold. The movie isn’t lacking on action either. Space-fighter dog-fights, lightsaber duels, kamikaze wookiees… Episode III has them all. The movie features a colorful cast of characters played by a mix of both good and bad actors. Episode III is definitely worth watching, no matter whether this is your first time or if this is your fifty-eleventh time.

In my humble opinion, the entire Star Wars series represents one of the best-designed and best-expressed portrayals of robotics in the entire cinematic spectrum. Unlike many other films, Star Wars allows "good" robots and "evil" robots in precisely the same ways that we have come to accept "good" people and "bad" people. The organic "Good" side in Star Wars is the Republic; the organic "Bad" is the Federation. (A shot at Star Trek perhaps? Hopefully not...) Each side has a batallion of robots (droids) to use in battles against each other - but there are also harmless robots on each side, such as C-3P0 and R2D2. Robots in Star Wars, unlike a vast majority of other films featuring robots and new technology, are capable of being just as cute, interactive, and friendly as the human characters. Episode III was perhaps one of the best films in the series due to its creation in the modern era of special effects - but the earlier films in the series are equally enjoyable. A notable feature of Episode III is that, if I am not mistaken, Yoda was created entirely by computer in this film, whereas he used to be a combination of a human actor and special effects in the earlier movies. Like films such as Bicentennial Man, it is possible to become emotionally attached to the robots in Star Wars just as much as with human characters in other movies. George Lucas used his entire series to portray a brave new world (or a brave old world, if "a long time ago..." is to be believed) in which robots are accepted members of society, and can be just as good or evil as the best or most foul of humanity.
P.S. Watch the series in order when you get a chance, starting with episode 4, and watch ep. 3 again at the end. It's worth it. Try to forget what you know.

Well, I’ll be honest. I went into Star Wars feeling confident that I was not going to enjoy the movie. Surprisingly, I was gladly mistaken. I was actually quite interested in the movie the entire way through. The plot was fantastic and there was enough action and suspense to even keep me interested. The special effects in Star Wars was great and obviously took a lot of work. However, I don’t know if I remember any robots. I guess maybe the little R2D2 thing was a robot, so maybe that is why we watched the movie. But I am not complaining because I really liked this movie. I was a little confused sometimes but that was because we watched a movie in the middle of the series and I hadn’t seen the others in years. I would definitely recommend this movie to other science fiction or action movie fans. I give it a 9 out of 10

George Lucas has done it again; he has gone and made another extraordinary movie. Although it is not the best of the series, faithful fans will not be disappointed by Star Wars III. All the usual characters return, and it is action packed. R2-D2 is the best robot by far with his classic white shell and blue buttons. As usual, the special effects are “out of this world”(haha) and have vastly improved since the beginning of the series because of all the advancement in technology. This is an epic series that cannot be beat! If you have not seen them, I highly recommend them.

Well, once you get past all the fancy light shows and flipping around (which are quite amazing by the way), you just get another poorly thought expansion to a once great series. Lucas tries once again as he did with episodes 1 and 2 to squeeze a few more bucks out of the Star Wars faithfuls. Gruesome acting combined with a vomit-inducing love story lay waste to a great movie series. If you really want to see a Star Wars movie, watch 4, 5, or 6. However, if you are looking for huge battle scenes, intense lightsaber duels, and dazzling special effects, Star Wars: Episode 3 The Revenge of the Sith certainly delivers.
