Transformers Reviews

I’m probably going to be alone with my opinion, but I simply did not like Transformers. It’s nothing personal against the movie; I simply do not like action movies. I found this movie to be just as boring as most movies in its genre. The whole idea of some kind of special map with coordinates encoded into a pair of really old broken spectacles is incredibly sophomoric for a movie of this caliber. Why not at least come up with something that partially makes sense? And now I’ll attempt to be positive about the movie: Shia LeBeouf is a great actor and really filled his role as kind of a nerdy kid who thinks he fits in with the “popular” crowd. His character provided much needed comedic relief in the movie. Also, the special effects were excellent. They did a good job morphing cars into robots and such, while making it seem as if that were actually possible. Only because I’m feeling generous at the moment, I will give this film a six out of ten.

Transformers, by Michael Bay, is a 2007 film that follows the epic battle for the future of earth between those who wish to destroy, Decepticons, and those that wish to protect, Autobots. The movie sports phenomenal special effects, a solid sound track, and is chock a block full of action. The combination of giant robots, guns, explosions, sweet cars, and a fantastic supporting actress make for a great movie that even girls have to appreciate. As a result of this stellar combination of action and actors I give this movie a near perfect rating, the only thing that could be added would be more of the same.

Although I was at first sceptic about watching Transformers, I have to say that I am glad I did. This movie was definitely one of the best we've seen so far. Filled with fight scenes and transforming cars, Transformers was, in all honesty, way better than I expected. The special effects used in this movie were beyond any I've seen so far. Everything was very well done, and added to the overall plot in such a way that I was entertained throughout the entire movie. Although robots transforming into cars to take over the world isn't very probable, the action and effects made it very realistic. The Decepticons come to destroy the Earth, and through an odd chain of events, the AutoBots, working with LeBeouf, try to protect it. Although the main reason the boys in our class wanted to watch it was Megan Fox, I'd have to say that she was the least interesting thing about the entire movie. It seems like she was just thrown in there to add some sex appeal to the movie for better ratings. This movie overall gets a t 10 out of 10 from me.

Transformers is quite possibly the best movie ever made. No, sorry, not possibly... It is the best movie ever made. It has all the good characteristics of an epic film, it could only be better if it had been a trilogy, but then it would just be Micheal Bay showing off his amazing directing abilities and rubbing it in the worlds face that he is better than they are. The two opposing groups of robotic shapeshifting aliens are the Decepticons and the AutoBots, who have both come to earth for different reasons. The Decpticons, led by Megatron, have come to destory Humans, while the AutoBots work to protect them. The main character is a High school student that unknowingly bought one of the Transformers as a used car, only to befriend it and work with it and its friends led by Optimus Prime in the fight against evil robots. The movie was over all great! I wouldnt change a thing, ans therefore I give this movie a 10 out of 10, a perfect score, for a perfect movie.

Michael Bay, the direcetor of Transformers, must have forgotten to put the "Made in Heaven" sticker on the back of the movie box, BECAUSE IT PROBABLY WAS! While watching the movie, I felt completely immersed in the special effects, excellent plot, flawless characters (*cough, hot girls, cough*), and did I already mention the special effects? Transformers is about the journey to find the AllSpark, which is a source of raw energy that can turn many machines into live robots. Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots, the good guys, seek to destroy the AllSpark in order to prevent Megatron (one BAD dude) from gaining access to it and manipulating it to his will with the rest of the Deceptacons. Upon first seeing Blackout (a Deceptacon) attack a base in Kuwait and destroy everything, I looked to my left and declared that this movie indeed would change my life, because it was SO FREAKING REAL! The robots looked legit, meaning that i would honestly believe that the robots where actual live actors in the movie if i didn't already have prior knowledge that they weren't real. The robots came from a planet in which civil war and violence destroyed themselves, and Optimus Prime declares that the humans are the same. This could have been a message from Michael Bay to tone down the violence, or the world might break out in a robotic civil war that could destroy our very existence. It is impossible to rate this movie on a scale of 1-10, because that scale does not include the number positive infiniti. But if there was such a scale, I vote infiniti!

I first saw this movie in theaters this summer, and the first thing I said when I walked out of the theater was "Damn!" Because if I had to sum up this movie in one word, it would be that. It is just one of those huge, multi-million dollar summer movies that you go see, and you think it will be pretty good, worth seeing anyway, and it is just FANTASTIC. You are on the edge of your seat the whole time, laughing and freaking out along with the characters. It is epic in the most enjoyable way possible, so good you can't believe it was three hours long until you realize both your legs are asleep from that precarious position you were perched in the whole time. And the robots are the freakin' coolest robots in the history of robots- they turn into cars man! Not just any cars, though, they turn into a Camaro, a bamf 18 wheeler, and tons of other cool ones like tanks. The story behind the Transformers is cool too, and the special effects for them are completely amazing. If I saw that happen to my car I'd do that same thing. And even though the glasses thing is kind of unbelievable, that doesn't really detract from the total experience of transformers, which was ballin'. The characters were all there too, I love Shia LaBouf- he gets hotter because he's so funny, and Megan Fox's bad acting didn't ruin the movie, luckily, and I loved all the other people, like the blonde and the black guy. Really, can you say anything truly bad about this movie? Not unless you are a complete movie-hater. Anyway, I love this movie, I want to be a Transformer, the old Camaro is way better, and Megan Fox is not that hot. HURRAY FOR SUMMER BLOCKBUSTERS!!

As children, even us girls were familar with Transformers. And although I was always a big fan (who wasn't?) I did not expect this movie to be very good. Most remakes of ideas usually aren't. I was pleasantly surprised, however, by how awesome this movie was! The plot line and depiction of the plot was genuinely good, and while you would expect it to be fairly predictable, it was still entertaining and kept the audiences attention. Like most of the other girls, I am confused as to the big fuss over Megan Fox, however the movie ended up being really good. The robots are amazing, and while far-fetched, they capture the emotions of both the characters and the viewers. I love bumblebee! This movie is a classic and while the robotics have little validity and credibility, the movie was an excellent good vs. evil story that carried out the true spirit of the old Transformers! Great movie choice!

Growing up playing with Transformer action figures, I have an already established appreciation and interest for shape-shifting robots. The film Transformers can only be described as simply magnificent, a special effects monument with an intense sound track to follow the extremely heated action that starts from the opening credits and does not end until the ending credits. The cast could not have been better selected, starring Shia LaBeoff, who's supporting actress, Megan Fox, lights up the screen...with her heavenly beauty and unearthly hottness. How can anyone go wrong with a movie that has fast cars, sexy women, and huge robots blowing buildings and each other up? This film is simply spectacular in every aspect, the visual and sound quality are inpecable. Nothing makes me more happy than seeing a beautiful actress, such as Megan Fox or the hot blond chick with an Aussie accent, riding in a car that can transform into a highly destructive robot at any time. The array of diffent machines that the Transformers use as disguises is endless, and to watch all these different types of machines turn into something completely different makes this movie the best I have seen in a long time. The battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons for the Allspark on the planet we humans are most familiar with, Earth, makes the film's plot amazingly exciting and enjoyable. With this film, "there is more than meets the eye," so you HAVE TO WATCH IT !!! This is now my favorite movie and receives a rating from me of 10/10.

Transformers can be summed up in two words. MEGAN FOX. The fact alone is, this movie is amazing, but with the addition of an actress such as Megan Fox, a great movie becomes a classic movie. Where does one begin to surmise the many blessings this movie has bestowed upon the world. The action is terrific. There is never a dull moment throughout the entire movie. You will find yourself sitting on the edge of your seat for the entire movie. The special effects are simply out of this world. Its hard to even imagine that the robots aren't real. Your breath is truly taken away while watching the car chases and many fight scenes (particularly the one on the highway). This special effects of this movie made me wish I had a car that could transform. Another thing which makes the movie so great is the plot. The plot is very detailed yet very simple. It is a matter of good vs. evil. The movie was also quite humorous. There were many moments in the movie that were very intense. The comedic elements of the movie often times lightened the mood of these very serious moments and gave the viewer a good chuckle. Last but not least, the most amazing aspect of this moive was its casting. Shia LaBeouf is hilarious throughout the entire movie and makes for a great main character. The greatest casting call in the history of mankind can not be overviewed. The casting of Megan Fox was what made the movie and instant classic. I give Megan Fox and 11 out of 10...ooops i mean Transformers an 11 out of 10.

Transformers can be sumed up in one word, AMAZING!!! Transformers is probably the best film that will be released all year. It is a must see for everyone. Whether you like action movies or not you will like it. There is depth and romance for the lady viewers and pure robot fighting action for guy viewers. No matter who you are there is something in this movie for you. The main character Sam ,played by Shia LaBeouf, gets his first car, a camaro, which turns out to be a robot. The movie shows how Sam's relationships w/ his car/guardian robot and a very attarctive girl Mikaela develop. The robots are shown to have emotions and personalites similar to humans. Also, the Autobots are very different from the other robots, the Decepticons. The Autobots show compassion towards the humans where the Decepticons want to destroy them. The special effects in this movie are amazing. The robots look so real it is hard to believe they are not real. The movie is concluded with a huge battle in the city between robots. This scence is amazing and breath taking. Transfomers is an instant classic and should be owned in every home. I cant wait to see Transformers 2 coming in 2009.

Transformers was the best movie of our selection and probably one of the best movies I've ever seen. It is definetly a top movie of the year and should be seen by everyone. It is not only an action packed movie but is funny and has a great storyline. The special effects are amazing, definetly the best I've seen in a long time. The fight scenes are awesome to watch and never get old. The story consists with a teenage boy, played by Shia LaBeouf, who comes to find out his recently bought car is actually a transformer. He is pulled into this fight of the transformers, autobots vs. decepticons, along with the girl of his dreams played by Megan Fox. The autobots are there to help the humans and decepticons are there to destroy them, both in the search of the AllSpark, a device with a lot of power hidden on Earth. The movies is based on the battle of good vs. evil and keeps the viewer's attention the entire time. With the way the movie ended, everyone should be expecting and excited about a sequel. I definetly recommend watching this movie and it's sequel whenever it comes out.

I was pleasantly surprised with the movie, Transformers, which I had not expected to enjoy. I thought it would be nothing but a series of battles with lots of creaking hinges and loud noises. On the contrary, the film is very funny with likeable characters and a good story line. The special effects are remarkable and fascinating to watch. The way that the robots morphed from a car or truck into a huge standing robot with scary spinning weapons and then back to their original form again left me open-mouthed and staring. The main characters of the film are young with all the insecurities and angst of teenagers, so the film is clearly geared to a young audience. Still, this older reviewer found it easy to enjoy the film, especially the first two thirds of it. Toward the end there was a long stretch of what I originally expected the entire movie to consist of--much battling of good robots vs. bad robots--and I must admit getting a bit bored. Overall, I give the film a rating of 7/10.

This movie definately surpassed my expectations. I had heard the hype all summer long, and the reviews were all good, and I now believe that Transformers deserved all the good reviews it got. The most amazing aspects of the film were the special effects. I had seen the cartoons when I was younger, and wasn't expecting much from computer animation, but the transformation from the cars to the robots were spectacular and so much fun to watch! It was also enjoyable to see the robots morph into their own distinct characters with different personalities. My personal favorite robot was Bumblebee, who was unjustly captured and tortured. The human characters were a bit cheesy, but made the movie enjoyable. The main plot line followed the good vs. evil subject very nicely. I like the idea of the robots coming from another planet and attempting to save the human race. Alien robots no longer seem so bad, as long as there are robots like the Autobots out there to defend us against the Decepticons. All in all, the casting was acceptable, plot was good, and the special effects were absolutely spectacular! I found the movie to be interesting and very enjoyable overall. I definately give this a 9.5 out of 10. GO BUMBLEBEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Transformers was nothing less than amazing. Actually, it was better than that. But there aren’t enough adjectives strong enough to convey just how awesome it truly was. The movie is about the battle between the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, and the Deceptacons, led by Megatron. Both forces seek the Allspark, a source of unilimited power and energy, but with different intentions. The Autobots want to protect the humans, while the Deceptacons seek to destroy them. The movie features excellent special effects, epic battles, hot girls, and Transformers. And let me tell you, it can’t get much better than that. So go watch it. Now.

Transformers honestly wasn't one of my all-time favorite movies this semester. It was alright, but nothing spectacular. The entire thing just seemed too contrived. It was fun enough to watch for a while but the movie length far exceeded the plot length. As Mark Twain observed, "Wagner's music is better than it sounds." The movie did share a virtue of Star Wars, however; it allows robotic characters to represent good vs. evil battles with clarity equal to that of humans involved in the same struggles. Transformers did allow for robots defending as well as attacking humans, refusing to insist that one or the other only be portrayed. As a victory for robot acceptance, and as a typical action movie, Transformers was adequate... but it was personally about a 6/10 on my "Enjoyment while Watching" scale.

Before watching Transformers I wasn’t sure if I would be intrigued or bored, but I was happily surprised with the fact that it turned out to be a very fun, interesting movie. The characters were funny and I love a good comedy. The special effects were amazing and it was really neat to see some of the stuff that the producers and creators of this movie came up with. I would not mind watching this movie again, and I was glad that I got the chance to watch this. I would give this movie a 8 out of 10.

I remember back in the day when I used to watch Transformers on TV, back when it was CG animated and looked real to us. But that old show had nothing on the movie, now THAT looked real to me. I thought Transformers had to be the greatest movie we watched in class, or better yet, ever. The movie was about an alien/robot race called the decepticons, who planned on taking over Earth by finding the AllSpark. The AllSpark is a cube of energy that could turn any machine into a living, killing robot, and the decepticons wanted their hands on it. Just as Earth looked doomed for, one last hope is found when the AutoBots, led by Optimus Prime, swear to protect Earth and the AllSpark from the decepticons. Oh, and did you know that Megan Fox was in this movie? Yea, MEGAN......FOX. She was just ok. But the rest of the movie was packed with intense action scenes and jaw dropping special effects, which is why i gave Transformers a 10 out of 10.

Transformers was an awesome movie. It has great special effects, music, and captivating plot. Disney’s Shia LaBeouf has finally moved out of kiddy world and into the high action films. At first, I thought that it was going to be boring because it was about cars, but it is so much more than that idea. The cars transform into these cool looking robots who are trying to protect the world. The graphics of the cars changing forms are incredibly detailed and interesting to watch. I especially liked how the robots had a personality of their own. For example, the car/robot Bumblebee plays songs to express his emotions and is sensitive. There are also many actions scenes in this film involving the robots fighting against each other, struggling to gain complete domination. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie; however, it is definitely more of a young adult movie rather than a kid flick.

Who could've guessed that so many wonderful saturday mornings of my childhood could lead to such a spectacular movie. Growing up with the Transformers cartoon and toys, this film truly hits home with me. AMAZING graphical effects and intense fight scenes simply add to the wonder of the original comic book cartoon world of Transformers. Michael Bay really knew what he was doing. This adaptation expands on the original series and takes you on a journey. Will the Autobots get to the allspark first, or will Megatron and his Decepticons get the allspark and destroy the world as we know it? Only time and the efforts of a handful of people can save the planet and all of our lives!

Transformers is the most awesomest movie ever made.... only becuase of the hottest girl ever made by the grace of god...MEGAN FOX. if god himself was given a life achievement award. it would be beacuse he made megan fox. i love megan fox. she is so hot. way hotter than any girl i have ever met. if anyone was to ever see god... they would only think they were looking at the beautiful MEGAN FOX, because gods human form is indeed that of MEGAN FOX. when i grow up. i want to be megan fox
